About Hurricane Lake HRC
Every member of Hurricane Lake HRC is a dedicated waterfowl hunter who has seen
the need for a well-trained retriever.  For the majority of us, our love for waterfowl
hunting has transformed into a passion for retriever training. Through year around
training and testing, we have improved our retrievers and have extended our time in
the field to a year around activity. "Our Season Never Ends".

Hurricane Lake HRC is a member of the Hunting Retriever Club, Inc. which is affiliated
with the United Kennel Club, Inc., the world’s largest working dog registry.  UKC/HRC
licenses our hunts, maintains our retriever’s points, and awards the titles that our
retrievers earn.

Based in Searcy, we have members throughout central Arkansas as well as some
from "out of state". We hold monthly meetings in Searcy with an occasional meeting in
Jacksonville or Sherwood.  Our monthly training days are usually in the Searcy area,
although we do venture out to Conway, Des Arc, and Cabot. These training days
allow our members to see multiple locations and conditions as well as obtaining help
from other members.

Hurricane Lake HRC is more than a place for dogs and training, we are a very family
orientated organization.  We have a wide range of members, young and not as
young, men, women, and youngsters. Several times throughout the year, we have
Family Days, cookouts, and a Christmas Party for our members and families. Come
out and join us and see what we are doing.
